Backups are just as important as online data -- and even more critical when disaster strikes! Our backups are managed by Veritas’ NetBackup solution. Tapes are labelled with a bar code and verified on a daily basis. A second copy of each tape is vaulted within 24 hours to an offsite storage facility. Data handling and restores are restricted to a minimal set of people. The backup system is monitored 24/7/365 by operations staff. Additional protection (e.g. backup encryption) can be purchased, if needed.
